Week 2: CAD

Week 2 focussed on Fusion360. We learned the basics to the software and were tasked to create a CAD modell of how our final project is supposed to look like in the end. In the following i will show step by step how this modell was created.

Step 1: Creating a sketch of the framework

Step 2: Extrude the sketch

Step3: Creating a space where the screen can later be attached

Step 4: Using combine tool to finish the screenholder

Step 5: Positioning the screenholder in the framework with hotkey M und the point to point feature

Step 6: Combining the screenholder and the framework and adding a new appaerence to it with hotkey A

Step 7: Creating a sketch for the screen and using the offset feature to create a border for the screen

Step 8: Extruding the screen and the border as two seperate body parts

Step 9: Changing the appaerence of the border and the screen

Step 10: Moving the screen into the framework

Step 11: Creating a button by making two small cylinders and alligning half a sphere on top

Step 12: Duplicating the button and aligning them on the sides of the framework with the move and align tools

Step 13: Creating a small cylinder that is supposed to be a small start button

Step 14: Attaching and colouring the start button to finish the modell
